Hired Merrimack Valley Roofing for my roof in August 2015. They provided excellent quality service at a very reasonable price. They also provided timely estimates for me on an estate home for sale.
Called to get a quote to have downspouts installed, and they came out the same day to give us a quote. When we decided to go with their company, it was completed within 72 hrs. Was completed in Oct 2017. Service and clean up was good, and have not seen any issues thus far. Bit curt on voicemail message, but otherwise fine.
Used them to repair aluminum fascia wrap which was blown off from wind storm. Very responsive and quickly did the repair. However one of the sheets blew off about a month later in a lesser storm. They replaced the sheet, except the finish work didn't look very good (even from the ground). I got up there to take some pictures (one is attached) and found the workmanship to be lacking. Especially where the wrap is lifted (may blow off again) and not tucked under the roof lip (may cause water damage?). I contacted Merrimack Valley with these issues; but received a terse reply "My honest opinion is that it may be a wiser idea to hire a siding company" & went on to explain they are mainly a roofing company. I pointed out that their honest opinion would have been more helpful at the time I first called them and that their home page clearly advertises "SIDING". Received an even more terse reply "We have even done for siding jobs in the past. We are capable of doing the job to a normal person's expectations. The only time we would run into issues is with a perfectionist."
