Excellent family place, good honest food, and the nicest cooks.
GREAT food and wonderful staff. Sweet, cozy, comfortable place. Only downside is parking is not hard to find but not super, super convenient and it is very popular (so crowded a lot) 5 stars though!
When our waitress was placing our food on our table she commented that my Chefs Salad was missing the boiled egg. If she didn't bring it to my attention I wouldn't even had noticed. She the went out of her way to try and get one. But, when there weren't any more cooked up yet she asked if I wanted to wait or she could get an immediate fried egg for the side

The fried egg wasn't neccessary, but her willingness to please is much appreciated.
Angie’s breakfast menu is served all day, and the egg, cheese, and bacon sandwich I ordered was simply the very best I’ve ever had. The Ruben sandwich that we also ordered was equally superb. We were very well attended by the waitstaff who all were most attentive, courteous and quick with fresh hot coffee refills. Angie’s is now most certainly on our most favorite list of restaurants.
Small diner in center of Newburyport. Not very crowded, only 3 booths occupied at about 10:30 in the morning. Ordered the hash and eggs. Wide choice of breads to go with my meal, but i stuck with the tried and true english muffin. Eggs were done well, hash was good and crispy as ordered but home fries were red potatoes with what tasted like paprika. A bit greasy and not crisp at all. The meal took longer than necessary, as the waitress informed me she forgot to put my order in. Very good coffee tho. I would likely choose a different place for breakfast, as there are many choices in town.
